Graciana Rucci
Graciana Rucci is a Lead Specialist in the Labor Markets and Social Security Division at the IDB, an institution she joined in 2005 as a junior professional. She has collaborated with various divisions within the organization, including the Office of Evaluation and Supervision, the Social Division for Andean countries, and the Health and Social Protection Division. Prior to the IDB, Graciana worked at the World Bank and at the Research Department of the National University of La Plata (UNLP).
Her areas of specialization include labor and education economics, applied econometrics, impact and results evaluation, economics for development, and social protection. Graciana has extensive experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating interventions related to labor markets, skills training, and social protection in countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Guyana, Mexico, Peru, and Uruguay.
Currently, Graciana is engaged in projects related to skills formation and productive development. Her involvement extends to projects and operations as well as analytical and research endeavors. Graciana holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California and a Master’s in Economics from National University of La Plata (UNLP).
